Meet the Hauraki Vets Team

Peter Marshall

Peter Marshall Practice Owner and Veterinarian

Peter is a practice owner/vet and has been in the area since 1994. Peter is always willing to discuss any veterinary issue and will answer your questions from pet problems to managing your herd. He can be spotted riding the roads on his bicycle or mucking around on his small sheep farm.

 

 

 

Natalie Rangihika

 

Natalie Rangihika  Practice Owner and Veterinarian

Natalie Rangihika is an integral part of Hauraki Vets veterinarians doing both small and large animals. Natalie started her career on the Hauraki plains in 2006 and is now a settled local. She has also a keen interest in Mastitis management on the farm. She plays hockey for the Ngatea team and  is on the committee of the local rural show.

Sarah Eyers Veterinarian

Sarah joined Hauraki Vets in February 2014.  She enjoys companion animal practice, as well as getting out on farm visits. She spends most of her time between the Ngatea and Thames Branches.  Sarah lives in the country with lots of pets and enjoys playing hockey locally.

Charlotte Jager Veterinarian

Charlotte joined the team in January 2016 after graduating from Massey University. She grew up down the road in Te Aroha. She is gaining experience in both large and small animals and is fitting into our team at Hauraki Vets well. She is based at our Ngatea clinic. She spends her spare time competing in agility competitions with her dogs Lily, Caesar and Delta and playing bridge. She also enjoys exploring the area, cycling the Hauraki Rail Trail and tramping on the Kaimai range.

 

 

 

 

Javid Ali

Javid Ali Veterinarian

Javid joined our team in January 2017 as a mixed animal veterinarian and is mainly based at our Paeroa branch. He has moved from Central Otago with his wife and two young children. He has previously worked in Northland and is keen on herd health and reproduction. He is looking forward to meeting our clients on farm and in the clinic.

 

 

 

 

 

Inga Bolt

Inge Bolt Veterinarian

Inge is our senior small animal veterinarian working predominantly from our Thames branch. She has worked in New Zealand and Australia in small animal hospitals, farming clinics and emergency clinics. She volunteered in Niue and Fiji and has a strong interest in native wildlife. She volunteers at DOC and Thames Coast Kiwi Care. She has a dog and two cats and spends her free time in the great outdoors keeping active biking, walking, kayaking and doing her volunteer work.

 

 

 

 

 

Gaye Bon and ‘Tilly’ our Ngatea shop cat

 

Gaye Bon Veterinary Nurse

Gaye joined the team in September 2015 as our nurse, working mainly in the Ngatea clinic. She worked as a vet nurse for 10 years before taking a break to have a family and has just come back into nursing now that her 3 children are getting older. When not at work she is out supporting her children in their activities, motocross and horse riding and also enjoys taking the jet ski out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cassie Dalgety

 

Cassie Dalgety Veterinary Nurse

Cassie joined our Thames branch in February 2017 and has recently graduated as a Veterinary Nurse. She is a local and has grown up in the Ngatea region. In her spare time she likes to ride horses.

 

 

 

 

 

Toni Growden

Toni Growden Sales Manager

Toni is based at the Thames branch and has lived and worked in Thames all her life. She has lots of pets including chickens and has a wealth of knowledge about indoor and outdoor pets and their needs. She has a young family and she is also very actively involved in her children’s school. Toni is a wonderful member of the Thames Community.

 

 

 

 

 

Dorothy Kent

Dorothy Kent Receptionist

Dorothy has worked for Hauraki Vets in our Ngatea clinic as our receptionist for 8 years and is the friendly person you will most likely get at the end of the phone. Dorothy has been a part of the Ngatea community for more than 40 years.  In her spare time she can be spotted enjoying the great outdoors.

 

 

 

 

 

Christine Peacock

 

Christine Peacock Receptionist

Christine is a familiar face at the front desk at the Ngatea clinic as she helps assists and with answering the phone. She does the billing inputs and accounts on the computer. She is happy to talk to you about any queries you may have about your account. Having been a local farmer herself she understands many of our clients needs and requirements in the shop.
